Vivian Girls, the much talked about all-female indie rock band, will be playing a special warehouse gig this Sunday 4th October at the Hellen Rose-Schauersberger Laboratorium, after the sudden closure of the beloved Hopetoun in Surry Hills.
The Brooklyn band experienced a quick rise through the New York underground music scene in 2008 and is currently touring Japan, Australia and the United States. Their new EP, Everything Goes Wrong is much darker than their self-titled debut, which sold out in ten days under the label Mauled by Tigers.
Doors open at 7pm. The girls will be joined by Mark Barrage and Naked on the Vague. Tickets are $20.
