Founded by emerging Adelaide choreographer, director and dancer, Alison Currie, 42a is "home" to all forms of art. This creative and unique installation encompasses dance, sculpture, painting, video and new media. The traveling exhibition digs deep into the notion of house and home by exploring memories attached to objects, personal relationships behind closed doors, instructions found in homes, the relationship between individuals and the physical constructs of a home... The list goes on.
42a is a “living breathing installation”. In a performance that personally relates to its viewers, audience members will journey through a voyeuristic and experiential experience in a unique setting. Put together, 42a is a spectacular collective new work, made beautiful with its rich idealised vision.
42a is free to the public and is making stops in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
