We’ve been fans of Sydney visual artist, Cara Stricker since before she started taking stunning shots for us, making amazing short films, animating the credits of feature films, making videos for bands and designers and basically just being as prolific as all get out.
And...
We’ve loved Lo-Fi Collective since they first flung open their doors, providing artists with a free space to exhibit their work and keep all profit from the sale of their work. Not to mention the fact that they also feature an impressive range of international artists.
So, it stands to reason that we would be rather excited by It was kind of like this, an exhibition of Cara Stricker’s photographs opening at Lo-Fi Collective at 6pm tomorrow (Thursday) night. The series on display was taking during a recent trip to the USA, on route to and at the infamous Burning Man festival. We’ve been privy to the works and you can take it from us they’re as whimsical as all get out. Well worth a look-see.
So go look, see?
