Splendour in the Grass festival goers will enjoy their splendour on a different patch of grass in 2010.
The usual location in Byron Bay is going through an approval process with the NSW Department of Planning and won’t be ready for next year’s event. So, the 10th Splendour in the Grass will be relocated to Woodford in Queensland, the stomping ground for the Woodford Folk Festival.
The good news is that Splendour will be held over three splendid days. But wait there’s more. The new venue is much larger, so more people will be able to camp onsite and enjoy the full experience of the festival. More space also means that organisers will be able to bring in a broader range of arts and cultural experiences.
