Walking into L.A Country Clubs opening night of Bright White Underground, a new project by NY artists Jonah Freeman and Justin Lowe, was like falling down a rabbit hole. Dark, claustrophobic, intense, mysterious and amazing.
For their latest project, these two unique artists have transformed the open-plan, contemporary interior of The Buck House (designed by R.M Schindler) into a labyrinth of constructed rooms and controlled environments.
Drawing inspiration from the peculiar and complicated life of psycotherapist Dr Arthur Cook, BWU is the follow up to their previous installations, Hello Meth Lab In The Sun (2008), Hello Meth Lab With A View 2008 and Black Acid Co-Op (2009).
