If this was truth hour we’d admit that there are actually three or four bands constantly fighting for poll position in our favourite-Sydney-band list. Since it is not truth hour we are going to unashamedly pick one of those bands, Wifey, and proclaim them our sole favourite. It’s close enough to fact to pass off as truth for the sake of this post. We digress...
Kluster’s favourite band in Sydney are supporting Sub Pop darlings, The Brunettes on their mini east coast tour of Australia. Kind of like what The Brunettes did for The Shins back in 2005 and then for Broken Social Scene, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and The Postal Service.
The tour kicks off tonight in Sydney at the Annandale, before trekking through a beachside town to end up at the Birmingham Hotel in Melbourne, via Canberra, this weekend.
We’ll be heading down to the Annandale tonight. We recommend you join us there. The Melbourne office is stepping out for the Melbourne show too. We don’t have a Canberra office so if you’d like to turn up to the Nash Cap show on our behalf, that would be cool.
