we're giving away dosh

Dosh's, Wallets As Art takes the humble money-holding device out of the back pocket and into the realm of creativity. The collaboration – featuring designs by Jonathan Zawada, Kill Pixie, French and Stefan Marx is the brainchild of Blue Sky Designers, Mark and Henri.

The kids at Dosh are really into the whole, ‘new year, new wallet’ idea. Seeing as we just started a new year we thought it fitting that we offer you the chance to win a new wallet. Synchronicity, you see?

We are giving away one limited edition Zawada (top) and one limited edition Marx (bottom) wallet to two lucky new subscribers, so get subscribing.

To be in the running simply follow the instructions below. Already a Kluster subscriber? No problem, just convince a friend to let you subscribe them too (include their name and email address in the body of the email).

To enter simply email info@kluster.com.au with the subject: Doshed up

roku means six

When Monster Children and Asahi say they are going to put together a group showing there is none of that let’s-pull-Jo-Public-in-from-Sydney’s-COFA-to-fill-the-last-spot mentality. Nosireebob (no offence to COFA students intended – we are certain you have a very bright artistic future).

They venture out into the creative wilds of Australia, Canada, Germany and the US and come back with Jonathan Zawada, Alex Kopps, Stefan Marx, Luca Ionescu and Beci Orpin, ready to create.

In the resulting collection, Roku (six in Japanese), each artist has produced four works motivated by Japanese culture. Six fours are 24, and that’s how many works there will be on display. Add to that a collection of six “exclusive limited-edition” frosted Asahi glasses and you have 32 works. A noble number.

The exhibition opens at 6pm on Thursday 14th May at Monster Children Gallery.
Sydney: May 15 – 30
Melbourne: June 19 – July 4.
