Sonya Gee is a woman on a mission. This Sydney-based artist and journalist is touching the lives of strangers with her newest project - hand-decorated coffee cups. There are six unique characters to be collected and cherished. Race over to Cafe Giulia before they all get snapped up.
Art that finds its way into everyday life can often leave much more of an impression that something you'd find hanging in a gallery. Furthering this idea that was behind the Matchbox Project, Sonya continues to add a little sparkle to our lives.

We’ve been around for five whole issues now so, we thought, it’s high time we create an issue dedicated to all the things that Kluster loves, right? We love you. Promise. But we also believe that our creative affections are best served polygamous. So… we also love Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art, Brooklyn’s best outdoor event McCarren Pool Parties, The Ravonette’s Sune Rose Wagner, Sydney photographers Dan Boud and Cybele Malinowski, delightfully quirky concept artist Sonya Gee, fixed gear bikes, bees (because they are dying, people), the internet, and so much more.

Last issue we told you all about how much we love Sonya Gee. We've experienced her delightfully intricate matchbox project before and now, Sydneysiders, it's your turn. Sonya will be displaying her matchboxes this Wednesday night at The Wall, World Bar. The Wall is a Sydney arts based club night.
A silent auction will be held on the night. It’s open to eager bidders taken with the boxes. We have it on good authority that one of said matchboxes has been be speckled with hundreds and thousands.
Fond out more here and here.
