Fighting through a field awash with top-notch talent, Therese Rawsthorne managed to take home the gong for 'Breakthrough Designer of the Year 2009' at the Madison Fashion, Style and Music Awards.
Therese was surprised she emerged victorious with fierce competition coming in the form of Romance Was Born, Gary Bigeni and Ellery. "It's good to be recognised by the industry and know that my work translates. I have become accustomed to being nominated for awards and never winning!
