Chances are you already know Matt Jordan from the shoe-inspired ranting, critiquing and overall analysing that is his other blog, Imelda. Apparently the manning of one prolific online destination was not providing this Sydney-based blogger with enough substance for self-flagellation. So in realisation of his long-time dream to become a dual blog proprietor, Matt launched his latest project, The Style Tyrant: a profile of mens’ sartorial style on the streets of Sydney.
Whether he is photographing a quartet of candy-coloured sperm-esque Mardi Gras participants or tracking down a stylish dandy on the streets of Chippendale, Matt is giving the boys of Sydney a chance to show off their sundry takes on fashion.
Says Matt on Style Tyrant, “I’ve been slammed for being a ‘cyber cunt’ (as Imelda) and while I've enjoyed unleashing my 'merciless tongue of tyranny' on footwear, I’m ready to turn the flamethrower on personal style, menswear, street style photography and everything else non-footwear related. It promises to be a low-brow affair.”
Using his insider knowledge as a buyer, product developer and marketing manager, Matt launched the Imelda shoe blog for the ‘Well Shod, Well Informed’ and successfully shone the spotlight on upcoming Australian shoe designers.
Matt's shrewd sense of style has already led him to Sydney's best dressed, the risk takers and the hammer pant wearing.
