David and Margaret simply adored Prime Mover. She gave it three and a half stars and he, four. Margaret was smitten with the chemistry that exists between co-stars Michael Dorman & Emily Barclay, both of Suburban Mayhem fame. David insisted that the support cast also delivered strong performances.
David tells us that, set in Dubbo in regional NSW, the film depicts trucking and romance in an at-times delightfully awkward way. Margaret pipes in; it’s the fantasy elements and the whimsical way that Director David Caesar (Dirty Deeds) depicts these things that excites her.
