Are you an unsigned artist/band living in Melbourne’s western suburbs? Well, put down your guitar and step away from the microphone because this is one opportunity you don’t want to miss!
The popular Laneway Festival has joined forces with Footscray Community Arts Centre to bring you ‘The Very West’. Musicians will perform for a panel of judges and the winner(s) will score the ultimate foot in the door by performing at St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Sydney in January 2010.
Applications open Tuesday 27 October and close at 5pm on Friday 27 November, 2009.

Want to win two tickets to Philadelphia Grand Jury’s Sydney show at Spectrum, next Friday 17th July? We make it this easy: send us a sordid tale, in 25 words or less, of what you would do if someone announced they were going to kill you.
